Download the latest PPP4 software update from Polar Finland »
Note! You will need the original PPP3 or PPP4 CD software installed on your computer before loading the update. Run the PPP S/W and click on the program's menubar "help-about" to obtain the current installed software version. Download Notes To the install the software update program you can run it from the web if you have a reliable connection (note the update file will be from Polar Finland). A suggestion is to create an update folder ie. (C:\Program Files\Software Update) and download the p40xxxx.exe file to this folder on your local hard disk drive. Then locate (using windows explorer) and run the p40xxxx.exe update file by clicking on it with your mouse. (Note: Ensure that the Polar software program is not running before continuing with the update as some files may not be updated.) The update will search the PC for the original program installation, and when found ask to be uppdated - confirm and follow the prompts. The update will not write over any of the exercise data, but it is good to back up the data anyway. Download the latest PPP4 HELP FILE from Polar Finland » It is recommended you also download and install the Help File after installing the latest software update. This provides you with the latest information available on the software features. You can also download the Software User Guide in a printable PDF format from our User Manuals page (this may not be as up-to-date as the help file). To update your online help files in Polar Precision Performance SW, download the help file of your language and save it to Polar Precision Performance Software folder (by default C:\Program Files\Polar\Polar Precision Performance). Check the FAQ pages for more info on installing the help file.

Download the PPP 4 software Help File »The software Help File has been converted to a PDF document for download Download the latest Polar USB IR Interface driver from Polar Finland »Installation Notes To install the driver for your Polar USB IR Interface, download the Polar USB.exe file to a temporary folder on your local hard disk drive, detach the Polar USB IR Interface, remove the previous Polar usb drivers. Run the PolarUSB.exe file saved in the temporary directory by clicking on it with your mouse. Attach the Polar IR interface for USB port and the install shield program will start. Note: the drivers are for Win98SE, ME, 2000 and XP (Vista not supported). The ORIGINAL Polar beige IR Interface cannot be connected to the PC during the installation. These USB drivers can be used only with the latest PPP4 software version. |

 Note! The Protrainer 5 Software features an automatic software update from the internet. After installation Polar ProTrainer 5 automatically checks for new updates every 2 weeks. The update check is done when the ProTrainer 5 is started. You can also prompt the ProTrainer 5 to check for updates by going to Help – Check for updates. Version 2.2.0 or later is required for the updated Polar Personal Trainer website.Polar WebLinkTM is a software used to transfer information from the Polar Heart Rate Monitor receiver (watch) to the Polar Personal Trainer web service, for further analysis and storage of your training sessions. You can transfer data via SonicLink or IR communication dependant on model. Polar WebLink is compatible with the following Polar Products: Polar WebLink is compatible with the following Polar Products: Polar AXN500, Polar AXN700, Polar CS200, Polar CS300, Polar CS400, Polar CS600, Polar F6, Polar F11, Polar F55, Polar RS200, Polar RS400, Polar RS800, Polar S410, Polar S510, Polar S520, Polar S610, Polar S610i, Polar S625X, Polar S710, Polar S710i, Polar S720i, Polar S725, Polar S725X, Polar S810, Polar S810i. This is how to use Polar WebLink after installation: 1. Double click the WebLink icon on your PC screen to open the software. 2. Enter your Polar Personal Trainer web service login name and password in the Settings page. 3. Select the wrist unit model that you use. Note: You can check your model from the back plate of your wrist unit. 4. Select the communication port for your wrist unit. 5. Save settings by clicking OK from the Settings page. 6. Click the "Continue" button and set your wrist unit to start the transmission (see instructions here ). The files will be automatically sent to the web service. 7. After the transfer, the software informs you how many exercises were sent and how many new exercises were actually saved in your Exercise Diary in the web service. Note: The same exercises will not be saved in your Exercise Diary twice. 8. After exercise data transfer, you can click "Go to Web" button to get to www.PolarPersonalTrainer.com. 9. The Polar WebLink software can be closed by clicking the close button on the right top hand corner of the window. Please note: -You will find comprehensive instructions in the Help function of the Polar WebLink Software once you have installed it to your PC. - To be able to run Polar WebLink you need a PC with Windows 98SE, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista. - To transfer exercises via Polar SonicLink, you'll need a sound card and a microphone. - For Infrared communication you need an IrDA port or an external IR device. - To access the Polar Personal Trainer web service you need a network connection and a web browser with Macromedia Flash Player, version 9 . |

In order to use Polar UpLink Tool you need to have a sound card and dynamic loudspeakers as the software utilizes the magnetic field generated by the audio transmission. (ie. desktop type loudspeakers that have a magnet and voice coil producing a magnetic field - solid state type devices which produce sound, that maybe found in laptops, will not work).
With Polar UpLink Tool you can edit your wrist unit settings and transfer those easily to your Polar product. Moreover, you can design your own logo to personalize your wrist unit. The Polar UpLink Tool is compatible with the following Polar wrist units: AXN300, AXN500, AXN700, CS100, CS200, CS300, E30, E40, E200, E600, F4, F6, F11, F55, RS100, RS200, S120, S150, S210, S410, S510, S520, S610, S610i, S625X, S710, S710i, S720i, S725, S725X, S810 and S810i. To be able to run Polar Uplink you need a PC with Windows 98SE, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista. Note! You can change software language by pressing F1 at main screen and selecting your preferred language. Do not wear the transmitter, when using the Polar UpLink Tool as it may interfere the data transfer between the wrist unit and the software.
