Polar WebLink
TM is a software used to transfer information
from the Polar Heart Rate Monitor
receiver (watch)
to the
Polar Personal Trainer web service, for further analysis and storage of your training sessions.
You can transfer data via SonicLink or IR communication dependant on model.
Polar WebLink is compatible with the following Polar Products:

This is how to use Polar WebLink after installation:
1. Double click the WebLink icon on your PC screen to open the software.
2. Enter your Polar Personal Trainer web service login name and password in the Settings page.
3. Select the wrist unit model that you use. Note: You can check your model from the back plate of your wrist unit.
4. Select the communication port for your wrist unit.
5. Save settings by clicking OK from the Settings page.
6. Click the "Continue" button and set your wrist unit to start the transmission (see instructions here ). The files will be automatically sent to the web service.
7. After the transfer, the software informs you how many exercises were sent and how many new exercises were actually saved in your Exercise Diary in the web service. Note: The same exercises will not be saved in your Exercise Diary twice.
8. After exercise data transfer, you can click "Go to Web" button to get to www.PolarPersonalTrainer.com.
9. The Polar WebLink software can be closed by clicking the close button on the right top hand corner of the window.
Please note:
-You will find comprehensive instructions in the Help function of the Polar WebLink Software once you have installed it to your PC.
- To be able to run Polar WebLink you need a PC with Windows 98SE, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista.
- To transfer exercises via Polar SonicLink, you'll need a sound card and a microphone.
- For Infrared communication you need an IrDA port or an external IR device.
- To access the Polar Personal Trainer web service you need a network connection and a web browser with Macromedia Flash Player, version 9 .
