This software version was supplied with the Polar Advantage Interface to download files from the Polar Vantage NV hrm. It will also download files from the Xtrainer Plus, Accurex Plus, Sports Tester and is compatable with the Interface Plus and Polar Interface. This is the final version of this software and no more update revisions will be available.
Polar Precision
Performance SW 2.1 is compatible with Windows 3.0 / 3.1 / 95 / 98 /
Me / NT / 2000 and XP. However, some problems may occur when
installing the software to Windows 98 / Me / NT / 2000 or XP from
the installation disks that do not include the latest SW
version.

or PPP SW 1 to PPP SW 2 please see the following:
Note!
It is advisable to install all old exercise
data items onto the new software version before downloading any new
exercises from the heart rate monitor.
To use the files created by the Polar Precision
Performance SW 1.0 software in the Polar Precision Performance SW
2.0, take the following steps.
Before installing the new software, make a
backup of all the old heart rate files and databases. Backup
copying is not necessary but most advisable.
Write down the database locations from the
Diary or Analysis program settings, section File locations
/Databases
(E.g. C:\polar\database) See the figure
below.
Close all programs.
Install the upgrade, either over the existing
version or to a new directory.
Start up the Polar Precision Performance SW
2.0 and change the database locations to match those of the Polar
Precision Performance SW 1.0, via Options / Preferences / Database
location. Once this is complete, any
old heart rate and exercise data items will be available.
If an old exercise cannot be
viewed with the Open
Exercise function, then change the
Starting Date
setting as instructed in the picture below. Access the selection
through the File menu: Open Exercise / Options
/ Date Range / Default Range / Starting Date
Note! Do not use
the PPP 1.0 software after the upgrade is installed, since the new
software version's databases are not compatible with the old
software.
Remember to check after reinstallation process that the hardware options
meet your present Polar equipment (receiver and interface unit) in
the software.
Note! It is recommended
to backup the exercise files before running the
setup.
The software has been zipped for each disk, you will need winzip to extract the files to each floppy disk.
