The Polar Precision Performance Software is a
ground-breaking analysis software that gives you high-tech tools for
gathering and studying the data provided by your heart rate monitor.
Using your own PC, you can update your semi-automatic training
diary, design your training sessions, build a personal resource of
past routines, reports and performance details or send settings and
reminders to your Polar Heart Rate Monitor using infrared
communication.
The Polar Precision Performance Software comes along with Polar AXN500, Polar AXN700, Polar S410, Polar S520, Polar S610i, Polar S625X, Polar S720i, Polar S725X, Polar S810i and is compatible with Polar S120, Polar S150 and Polar S210 products.

Note.
The F55, AXN500 and AXN700 HR monitors will not work with the Polar serial or the Polar USB infrared interfaces. (This is because the Polar infrared interfaces are proprietory and not strictly IrDA compliant and the F55, AXN500 and AXN700 HR monitors are IrDA compliant).
The new IR-721 USB2.0 IRwave is compatible with these above models.
* The IR-721 USB2.0 IRwave is
NOT Compatible with the older non-IrDA compliant S610, S710 and S810 hrm's.
** A dynamic speaker is needed for Polar UpLink data transmission that
can be used with all S-series HR monitors. A dynamic speaker has a
magnet inside. Usually laptops have piezoelectronic speakers that does
not include magnet. A solution for laptops is to use headphones that
normally have dynamic speakers. Via Polar UpLink you can upload
settings from Polar Precision Performance software to a S-series HR
monitor.
*** A microphone is needed for exercise data transmission via SonicLink
from a HR monitor to Polar Precision Performance SW 4 or later.
**** A sound card is needed if you are using SonicLink data
transmission or Polar UpLink. In practice, all current sound cards are
Sound Blaster compatible.
Note. The Polar Precision Performance Software is not compatable with the Apple Macintosh platform
