FAQ Microsoft Vista and the POLAR PRECISION PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE

Installing Polar Precision Performance 4.03.040 onto Microsoft Vista.

A free full version of the software can be obtained from here.

Polar Precision Performance software is not supported on Microsoft Windows Vista.

Polar have been able to install Polar Precision Performance software on both
32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista operating systems. However, the software did not always perform flawlessly.

Polar Precision Performance SW v.4 is the last Polar software that supports products: Polar Vantage NV,
Polar Sport Tester, Polar Vantage XL, Polar Accurex Plus, Polar XTrainer Plus, Polar Coach, Polar Computer Interface,
Polar Advantage Interface, Polar Interface Plus and Polar HR Analyzer.

Note. Some versions of PPP4 produced on CD's will not install on Vista. If this happens with your CD, download the free version.

Run the setup.exe program or insert your PPP4 software CD.
The following images will appear in sequence when the CD is loaded into the PC.

This error message will likely appear.

Use Windows Explorer to browse your computer for the CD drive (usually D:).
Look for and run (click-on) the setup.exe program in the sw_setup directory.

Follow the below sequence to install the software onto Microsoft Vista.

Note. Most important - Remember to update the software to the latest version after installation before using the program.
