Polar Power Output Set
Troubleshooting
  • I get a constant 00 reading: You may have exceeded 300 riding hours and the battery in the power output sensor needs to be replaced.

  • I don't get a speed-reading: Check the correct position of the speed sensor with the spoke magnet.

  • I don't get a cadence reading: Check the correct position of the power sensor with the crank magnet.

  • I don't get a power reading: Check the correct position of the power sensor with the crank magnet.

  • I don't get any readings: Check each sensor causes the LED to flash when a magnet is passed across each sensor. You may need to reset the power unit by unplugging the cable into the power bike mount.

Note. The chain speed sensor is not as easily strobed with a magnet as is the speed and cadence sensors.

If the LED does not flash as the sensor is strobed, this could indicate the sensor is faulty, the cable has been damaged or the cable to the bike mount has been damaged.
