*Note: There are 2 spoke magnet options included
in the package. Only install 1 of them.
Wrap the speed sensor cable (the cable that comes from the
front of the power sensor) around the lower portion of the seat
tube.
Check the bottom part of the opposite chain stay facing the
floor to find a suitable place for the speed sensor. Place the
rubber pad here as close to the to the rear hub as possible, this
will help to avoid interference with the chain sensor.
Place the speed sensor on the rubber pad so the sensor is
pointing down towards the floor. Check that the sensor does not
touch the spokes. Pass the zip ties through the holes in the
sensor and around the opposite chain stay, and loosely fasten.
Do not fully tighten at this point.
Attach one of the two speed magnets to a spoke of the rear
wheel. Choose the one that fits better on your spoke diameter.
Before you secure the magnet to the spoke, make sure it lines up
and passes closely to the sensor. Now secure the magnet to the
spoke.
Fine-tune the positioning of both the spoke magnet and the
speed sensor so that the magnet passes the sensor closely but does
not touch it. The maximum distance between the speed sensor and
the spoke magnet should be 5mm or .2 inches.
Once positioned correctly, tighten the zip ties securely and
cut off any excess zip tie ends.
