THE POLAR POWER SYSTEM
Installation

The Polar Power System measures pedaling power, left/right balance (LRB describes the share of power output of left and right as a percentage), pedaling index (PI describes how evenly power output was produced during a cycle round), speed, cadence and distance when cycling.

The Polar Power System works in conjunction with the Polar S710, S710i and S720i on all bikes with a rear derailleur. It is designed especially for road cycling but it is also suitable for most mountain bikes. However, installation may be more difficult on a mountain bike than on a road bike.

Before attaching the rubber pads for the sensors or the magnets to the bicycle, the area in question should be cleaned and dried thoroughly.

If the zip ties are too short for your bicycle, join two of them together to make them longer.

The wireless speed sensor that comes with the S710, S710i and S720i and the optional cadence sensor should be removed from the bike if already installed, before installing the power system.
